Twenty years of thinking and drinking calls for a special celebration—and we want you to be a part of it.

Our 20th anniversary festivities continue with our second special event, this time in Texas! Join us for The Geek Elite: A 20th Anniversary Quiz, hosted at The Highball at Alamo Drafthouse Austin. We’ve let our editorial team off the leash to create zanier rounds, more interesting questions, and content that really drives home our company motto of, “Always harebrained, never half-assed.” It’s all to celebrate our history, spotlight our longtime quizmasters, and give YOU the chance to win some cash.

Here's the lowdown:

• Date: Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at 6PM
• Location: The Highball at Alamo Drafthouse
• Ticket: Reserves your spot for up to six (6) players on your team
• Prizes: Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, plus drinks and merch galore!

Table seating is first come, first served. Additional team tickets may be sold at the door, space permitted, with all funds going toward the cash prizes awarded during the event. 

Upon purchase, you will receive a general ticket confirming your spot. Your unique team ticket will be sent to your email address within 1-2 business days of purchase, which you'll need to show at the venue for admission.
